Stephen Hall, MBBS, MMSc, FRACP
Stephen Hall, MBBS, MMSc, FRACP, is an Associate Professor at Cabrini Medical Center in Malvern, Australia as well as the owner and Medical Director of Emeritus Research in Melbourne, Australia. Dr Hall founded Emeritus Research in 2000, which has coordinated and conducted over 200 clinical trials to date. Dr Hall has also been a Senior Research Fellow (Associate Professor) at the University of Melbourne, Institution for Rehabilitation Research since 2001.
Dr Hall completed his Bachelor of Medical Science in 1974 and his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1977 at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He was a fellow in rheumatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota from 1982 to 1984 and a fellow at the Royal Australian College of Physicians in Sydney.
Dr Hall was an assistant rheumatologist at Prince Henry’s Hospital in Melbourne from 1984 to 1986, a rheumatologist at Alfred Hospital in Melbourne from 1986 to 1989, a Senior Lecturer at Monash University, Department of Medicine from 1989 to 1995, and was head of the rheumatology unit at Box Hill Hospital from 1989 to 2001, as well as a rheumatologist at Dandenong Hospital in Melbourne from 1994 to 2001.
Dr Hall has also authored and co-authored articles in various medical journals, including The Journal of Rheumatology, Lancet, The Medical Journal of Australia, and Rheumatology and Therapy.
